Canon EOS Digital Rebel & Rebel XT Repair Service (bent pins): Applies to: Canon EOS Digital Rebel (300D) and to the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT (350D). If you look at the bottom of the camera, there is a sticker with serial number and other info. At the top of the sticker, The Digital Rebel is marked "DS6041". The Digital Rebel XT is marked "DS126071". All repairs are performed at our Burlington, VT location by

includes: Repairing or replacing the bent pins, as needed Re-soldering of the internal connections Cleaning of your CMOS image sensor (a $50.00 value!) General cleaning of the entire camera 90 day limited service warranty (terms at bottom) Turn-around time for this repair is 7-10 business days from the time we receive your pre-paid repair order. Return shipping information at bottom of page. Once you have purchased the repair service, simply remove accessories (like straps, batteries, eye cups, lenses, etc.) and place a copy of the eBay transaction form (clearly stating your name, eBay ID, and return address) in a plastic bag with the camera. You may leave a body cap on the camera for protection, if you wish. Package it carefully, with plenty of padding, since it can be a bumpy trip. We will carefully service the camera, and return it to you quickly. Please also examine your memory cards carefully – they are often damaged when the pins bend, and if they are not taken care of, could damage your camera again as soon as you insert them. Check the side with the holes in it, and see that the surface is uniform, and there are no extra dings or dents in the plastic. If you are unsure, you can send the memory card(s) along with the camera, and we will check them out for you. In many cases, we can fix a damaged card so it can safely be used again. If you have other shipping requests, please discuss them with us before bidding. The cost for return shipping is paid when you complete the eBay checkout, and we charge only actual shipping costs. The handling fee we have included is there to cover costs of insurance - eBay assumes that the transaction price is the same as the value of the item, which is usually the case for sales, but since this is a repair, your camera is worth more than the cost of the repair. The shipping calculator does not allow insurance to exceed the transaction price, so the handling fee just covers insuring your camera to replacement cost. Limited Warranty (applies to all repair service): Repairs are warranted for a period of 90 days from the ship date. Damage due to fair wear and tear, corrosion, intrusion of liquid or dirt/sand, heat, impact, abuse or tampering is not covered. Consequential damages, such as loss of film due to failure of our repair, are not covered. Repair of the equipment is our only obligation, and any refund is at our sole discretion, and we may at any time fulfill our entire obligation under this warranty by returning the equipment to you and refunding the original repair charge. It is the customer's responsibility to check the repaired equipment to determine that it is satisfactory for your intended purposes and to return it to us within the warranty period if it fails to operate properly.
